If you're planning to migrate or study abroad or if you want to meet entry requirements for college and visa processing, the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) will make sure you're fully prepared with the right level of English ability for your purpose.

IELTS covers all four language skills: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking and is offered in two test formats - Academic and General Training. All candidates take the same Listening and Speaking Modules and there is and option of either Academics or General Training Reading and writing Modules.
Academic is suitable for candidates planning to undertake higher education study or who are seeking professional registration. General Training is suitable for candidates planning to undertake non-academic training or work experience, or for immigration purpose.
All candidates must complete four Modules - Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking to obtain an IELTS Test Report Form.

--- Consists of 40 items to be done over 4 sections.
A variety of English accents are used.
--- 3 Reading passages. 40 items.
--- Two tasks to be completed in one hour.
--- Consists of an oral interview with a qualified IELTS examiner. |

Candidates will receive a score, on a Band Scale from 1 to 9, for each module of the test.
Candidates will also receive an Overall Band Score, on scale from 1 to 9. |

KCC's Intensive IELTS Course helps student prepare for the IELTS examination through a multi-faceted approach that includes activities strengthening a student's Vocabulary (including Idioms), Listening skills, Reading Skills and Speaking Skills. In addition there are various writing exercises designed to help candidates better tackle the IELTS writing tasks.
