IS THE COURSE ONLY CLASSROOM-BASED? NO! Other features of the course are:
Field trips to popular attractions in Sabah and Sarawak, as well as West Malaysia. Educational visits to tourism-related local industries. Exciting extra-curricular activities only for tourism students. Exhibition works in tourism road shows. Participation in local tourism events. Internal travel agency and hotel reception practical in our own mock training room. Industrial practical on the job training in hotels, resorts, travel agencies and airlines. WHO SHOULD APPLY FOR THE COURSE? Students who are interested in pursuing an exciting career in the travel and tourism industry. Individuals who enjoy meeting NEW people, learning NEW cultures and travelling to NEW places! WHAT ABOUT AFTER THE COURSE? CAN I GET A JOB? YES! This qualification will open up excellent job prospects, giving you the advantage over others. The choices are endless - hotels & resorts, tour companies, travel agencies, tourism bodies, transport and car rental companies...or set up your own tourism enterprise! Normally most students are able to get employment within 1 month after graduating. WHERE CAN I FURTHER MY STUDIES AFTER THE CERTIFICATE COURSE? You have 3 options of continuing your studies: Continue to a Diploma in Tourism & Hospitality Management here in KCC. Continue with local higher learning institution and colleges. Continue with universities and colleges overseas. The Certificate qualification will lead you to entry into various universities in Australia, New Zealand, UK and USA. KCC will assist you in this process.

KCC's Diploma in Tourism & Hospitality Management (KA8116) and Certificate in Travel & Tourism Management (KA4836) is APPROVED AND ENDORSED BY LAN ( Lembaga Akredatasi Negara), a body under the Ministry of Education that regulates courses offered by private colleges and universities. KCC has very experienced, dedicated and understanding lecturers who guide the students through orientation, the academic course and industrial training. On successful completion of the course, KCC will help students to apply for scholarships / loans and entry into overseas university programs or help them find employment.
